Tassel Necklace - Kawhia

This handmade tassel necklace is named after the coastal village of Kawhia. One of Kawhia's claims to fame is the hot water spring on Ocean Beach. At low tide, geothermally heated water bubbles up through the black sand.
Lovingly created in my home studio. My tassel necklaces are a mix of materials; wooden beads, natural stone, gemstones and other treasures found while looking for 'that perfect bead'.  

• A leatherette tassel, silver with white backing, on a long wooden bead necklace.
• Anchor beads are painted wood and clear faceted glass.
• Wooden beads are coloured navy & silver.
• Necklace is 57cm in length including tassel
